I had to walk five miles to school in three feet of snow!!! Well not quite...

It all started when I was re-watching my pioneer Sailor Moon S dvd's. When I was about 13 (I am now 26) my mom went on a trip to Taiwan and brought back some Sailor Moon goodies for me. I got about 3 vhs tapes of SMS episodes in Japanese with Chinese subtitles. It was like magic...for so long I had dreamed of watching the impossible to attain "Japanese original episodes" none the less, a new season I had never seen, with Uranus and Neptune! (Back in the olden days kids there was no youtube) Anyway I watched them over and over and could not understand a damn thing. But still enjoyed it. I have since studied Japanese and have obtained a Japanese minor when I graduated collage. It is so strange watching those same episodes now and being able to understand what they are saying. I do still use subtitles, I am by no means fluent, but can understand most of it. Which led me to think how grateful I am to now have access to all of these episodes on DVD to watch whenever I like.

Back in the day if you wanted to watch an anime, you had to go to Suncoast and spend 30$ for a vhs tape that had 2-4 episodes. There was no youtube, no netflix, and anime was not popular enough yet in the USA to be available in most rental stores. I remember my second anime to SM was Evangelion. I would pick a tape that looked the most interesting (a 13 year old can't afford the whole series) and take it home and be amazed with all the "naughty" adult stuff it had and touched by how deep it was. You young punks nowadays have it so good with your cel phones and internet ;D I do think I wouldn't have it any other way growing up, because all of those things were so hard to get, there was such a strong sense of wonder and magic to it. I think because I grew up that way I can enjoy Sailor Moon and my other anime hobbies all the more. 

One last thing, when I was about 11 I thought it would be so cool in the future to find what you wanted/go shopping without leaving the house and have whatever you wanted from anywhere in the world teleported to you. Well there is no teleportation yet, but my futuristic dream did come true with internet shopping! I can buy all the things I have always wanted!

Oh well, just stuff that was on my mind.

So hobby link Japan had free shipping on orders placed before midnight of sep 28th. I placed an order on sep. 28th. I was supposed to know that it was actually the 27th (because Japan is one day ahead) and was told after I placed my order that I did not qualify for free shipping. I explaned my side, and asked that they cancel my order or honor the free shipping an they refused. I informed paypal and got my money back. I sent them a nice e-mail saying I am sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you for the refund.

that was a week ago

So I check my e-mail and I have been charged AGAIN. I file an unauthorized charge and paypal took my side and i got my money back. DO NOT USE PAYPAL on HLJ!!! They trick you into signing up to a billing agreement that says they can charge you whenever they want. So after all of this I get this very PROFESSIONAL e-mail from them-

Before I got this I already said I was never going to buy from them again...now they black list me anyway? Wow too bad, I really wanted to do business with them again (sarcasm)

I have been using Celga as my bidding service for years. At first I liked them because they were very friendly and had excellent customer service. As the years passed, I am not sure what happened but several things went wrong. To start, I am probably one of their biggest customers, I have even recommended them and brought them more business. It all started when I won an auction and I asked them to open a locket and tell me if the battery cover was on. They said they couldn't do it because they didn't have time...ok I pay hundreds and hundreds of dollars to you people and have never asked for this kind of favor and you can't even open one of my items and help me out? Strike one. Next I changed my e-mail, I e-mailed them on my new and old e-mail telling them to use my new e-mail. I even updated it on their website. I sent them an item I wanted them to sell for me, and they did not even ask me what the description would be or what I wanted the starting bid to be, they just list it starting at 100 yen and e-mail me this info at...yes...my old e-mail. I would have started the bidding at 5000 yen and it sold for 2000 yen. I was furious. I have asked them to stop e-mailing my old e-mail because I do not check it, and today they e-mailed me again at my old e-mail to tell me I have credit for the item that was sold. They ALWAYS ask me for information on an item I want to sell before they list it, now one of my marmalade boy items that I really liked got sold for less than half for what I paid for it. I told them I was upset and why and they just said---

I have e-mailed them AGAIN and still no reply. I know they got it because they always reply to my e-mail if I have a bid and I am just being ignored, no apology or anything. They have not offered me anything to make it better. I ask that anyone using celga use another service and you can even mention me I don't care, there are many other services that are even cheaper than celga. Does anyone have any advice??? I am so frustrated.
